Hi! My name is Danielle Hamlin and I’m a certified personal trainer based out of Dallas, TX. Originally, I went to school for psychology, looking to make a career as a psychologist. I’m constantly seeking ways to improve so, for quite some time, it seemed like the correct path for me. I ended up majoring in this field and minoring in philosophy but, as I needed to start thinking about graduate school, I soon realized that I wasn’t as passionate about it as a career as I had initially thought. This enlightenment undoubtedly sent me into a panic. I was thoroughly confused having discarded my only life plan at that moment. I had no idea what I wanted to be anymore when I grew up!

Regardless, I kept an open mind and followed my heart… right to the gym. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I had always been passionate about fitness. In fact, I had been quite obsessed with the lifestyle. The majority of my goals were centered around fitness, I constantly researched related topics, and I worked out religiously. This acknowledgment was a game changer! I was elated thinking about having a life that was focused on my passion. I didn’t hesitate. I graduated with my bachelor's in May and had my CPT by August.

I also started my own fitness apparel line called Gympire, which opened up so many opportunities. Not only did I have to become fairly savvy in business-related topics such as trademarking, photography, marketing, and design, I also had to learn how to provide value which meant that I had to deliver information on more detailed and advanced related fitness topics. This is how and why the blog started.

Hands down, the blog is my favorite. If there was one blessing I received from my psych degree it was the gift of research and how to write A+ papers. I love applying my investigating skills to satisfy my fitness related curiosities. I also really love that, unlike my pointless class papers, the blog entries can be used to help others. That, to me, is really cool and the primary objective of this website.

I believe that the best version of ourselves is our gift to the world. If I have the ability to help you during any part of your journey toward becoming the best version of you, then together we have participated in the greatest act; making the world a better place. If you pour through the content of this website and find something you enjoy, please don’t hesitate to like, share, comment, or maybe even pick up some sweet Gympire gear as a token of appreciation.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and stopping by my site! I hope to get to know you soon!
